Tikal Sunrise and Sunset Tour

Prepare to be awed as you step into the ancient ruins of Tikal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Guatemala.

Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Tikal national park

Our first day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel or the Mundo Maya Airport. Then travel to the renowned Tikal National Park, where you will check into your hotel.

9:30 hrs. Your archaeological and nature tour begins with a walk toward the heart of this beautiful Maya site. Here you will discover some plazas, palaces, and temples inside the archaeological complex.

With luck, you’ll spot diverse wildlife such as coatis, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, birds, and insects.

Following the tour, go back to the hotel for a meal and relax.

Afterward, you will take another walk to witness an unforgettable sunset from one of the Maya Temples before returning to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Sunrise at Tikal

The following day, your tour continues with an early 4 am start at the top of a Mayan temple for a spectacular sunrise before returning for breakfast at your hotel.

Enjoy time to relax or take a leisurely stroll in the park until 15:00, when you return to your hotel or the Mundo Maya Airport.
